Student Visa

Study in Canada

Every year over 125,000 students come to study in Canada for a variety of programs from Diplomas to Masters degrees. The study policy in Canada is that if you study in Canada for two years, you will be granted a three-year work permit. During that time you can also apply for Permanent Residency.

Students are limited to 20 hours work per week while classes are in session, but they may work full time during holiday periods. Work rights are intended only to supplement a student’s income and should not be viewed as the sole source of funds.

Students who intend to apply for student visas should complete the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), students should have a 6.0 IELTS score for undergraduate studies and a 6.5 IELTS score for Masters studies.

Canada offers many opportunities for international students.
