Manjit Walia first began his legal career in India where he was admitted to the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana High Court in 1976. After practicing with a small firm for several years in Jalandhar, Punjab, he co-founded a practice in 1979 where he practiced various areas of law.

In 1980, Manjit immigrated to Canada. Shortly thereafter, he became a successful realtor after completing the Real Estate Salesman’s and Sub-Mortgage Broker’s Pre-Licensing Course at the University of British Columbia.

While working as a realtor, he realized that his heart was always in law.

 

In 2001, Manjit articled with a small firm in Calgary, Alberta. After completing his articles, he was called to the Alberta Bar in 2002. In 2003, Manjit operated his own successful law practice in Calgary, Alberta. After being called to the British Columbia Bar in 2014, Manjit decided to return to B.C. to continue his legal career. In 2014, he opened a second location in Surrey, B.C. where he now practices with his two sons. Manjit serves individuals in B.C. who require services for Immigration, Real Estate, Wills and Estates.

 

During his free time, Manjit enjoys travelling as well as spending time with his family and friends.
