Shiva is an Articling Student at Walia Law Group, having commenced his articles in May 2025. His journey with the firm began in May 2024 as a volunteer, followed by his role as a Legal Assistant starting in August 2024. Through these positions, he gained valuable insight into legal practice in Canada and developed a strong foundation in client service and case management.

 

Shiva earned his law degree from Panjab University in 2017 after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and building a successful career in the hospitality industry. He practiced law in New Delhi for several years before relocating to Canada in 2023. Demonstrating his commitment to re-establishing his legal career, he completed his NCA accreditation in 2025.

 

Outside of his professional pursuits, Shiva enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and exploring diverse cuisines. His international experience and client-focused approach contribute meaningfully to his work at the firm.
