Pawan is an Associate Lawyer with extensive experience in family, criminal, and civil litigation in both British Columbia and Alberta. She is recognized for her strong advocacy skills, practical judgment, and unwavering commitment to her clients. Pawan approaches each file with empathy, diligence, and clear, solutions-focused communication, ensuring her clients feel supported and informed at every stage of the process.

 

Pawan completed her legal education at the University of Leicester before returning to Canada to pursue the University of Alberta’s Internationally Trained Lawyers Pathway Program. She articled in Edmonton and was called to the Alberta Bar in August 2024. After relocating to British Columbia, she was called to the BC Bar in February 2025.

 

Pawan regularly appeared before the Court of King’s Bench and the Alberta Court of Justice on a broad range of family law matters. She also developed experience in criminal and civil litigation while working at a boutique firm in the Okanagan. Upon moving to British Columbia, she further enhanced her skill set at a family and estate litigation firm in downtown Vancouver, giving her valuable insight into high-conflict disputes and complex financial issues.

 

In her current practice, Pawan represents clients in both the Provincial Court of British Columbia and the Supreme Court of British Columbia. She provides strategic advice on asset and debt division, spousal and child support, guardianship, parenting arrangements, and all matters involving children. She is also experienced in preparing comprehensive family law agreements, including cohabitation agreements, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and separation agreements. Whether advocating in court or negotiating a resolution, Pawan is dedicated to achieving fair, practical, and durable outcomes tailored to each client’s needs and goals.

 

Originally from the Okanagan, Pawan enjoys visiting family in Osoyoos and exploring her new neighbourhoods in White Rock. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, LJ.
